First off, I want to thank you for taking the time to learn more about the person behind the articles. The name is Albert Fang; some people refer me to “Alby” as well. I am a recent UCLA Alumni, aspiring small business owner, photographer, and soon to be NBA player. I just gave you three truths and one lie. I will let you do the deduction because my brain is already fried.
How I got into blogging is a funny story. Writing hasn’t always been my strong suite so if you know me, you will find the occasional grammatical mistake here and there. So the question you are probably asking is why am I blogging now? The answer is because I don’t really know. I am kidding. Although blogging may be time consuming, there is something enriching about putting my thoughts into words that is a reflection of me that makes blogging all worthwhile. In short, you can say I am blogging just because I do what I want and I’m narcissistic.
However, don’t count me out just yet! I swear I am somewhat qualified. I have over four years of experience of running a personal finance blog called Moola Days in high school, which I sold to focus on my studies at UCLA. I’m a pretty nostalgic person so upon graduating, I decided to do the unthinkable and blog about personal finance through the spirit of my old blog.
But in all seriousness, I hope you will learn a thing or two about personal finance after reading my blog. Personal finance can be a tricky subject because there is a lot of new rules, regulations, reading, and just adulting. I hope to break down those blocks of text on the web and put it into layman terms that even I would read.
I just want to put out a disclaimer that a lot of my content will be very opinionated and biased, think of an op-ed in a newspaper so to speak. Additionally, if you ever have any questions or feedback, don’t hesitate to reach out!
Thank you for your time reading my blog!
